The 5 hour endurance race was once again the highlight of the closing weekend of the season. The weather was (mostly) dry but cool, and the CRA saw a full grid of bikes in the four divisions. The overall winner, Adrenaline Engineering Close the Door, completed an amazing 172 laps with a best lap time of 1:36.941.

Brainerd International Raceway (BIR) is the largest racetrack in the Upper Midwest and offers some of the most diverse motorsports schedules anywhere.
The championship-style Competition Road Course uses portions of BIR’s original 3.1-mile Donnybrooke Road Course, including Turns 1 through 8. But at Turn 8, a 300-degree right-hand clover leaf transitions racers from the old course to the new stretch of asphalt that winds its way back across the infield, eventually tying back into the original circuit just before Turn 1. In all, the Competition Road Course features 13 turns and is challenging for expert and novice racers alike.
