We Need You!
It takes more than 100 volunteers to staff a CRA race weekend! Our volunteers receive complimentary admission, camping, lunches, a t-shirt and also earn points towards worker service awards. Did we mention the best seat in the house as well? You can’t get any closer to the action than standing on the edge of the race track!<br /> There are dozens of different volunteer positions that you can sign up for. Below is a description of our most popular volunteer opportunities. For a more detailed list of all positions available, download the CRA Worker Brochure.

Lots of ways to join in
There are many different ways to volunteer with the CRA. Check out our various roles
Flagging and Communications

Flagging & Communications (Corner Working)
Flagging & Communications, otherwise known as ``F&C`` for short, is the largest and most visible specialty at a race event. Individuals staffing this specialty are commonly referred to as ``corner workers``, (or Corner Marshals in some organizations) and they relay information about track conditions or hazards to the racers during a race. In constant contact with Race Control, they know what is going on all around the track at all times. Not for the faint of heart, but it does offer great excitement! The CRA Corner Worker Manual is a great resource for information about how to be a corner worker.

What to expect
The CRA provides a great day of family friendly entertainment, with on track excitement and thrills provided by our experienced racers competing in multiple classes and events. Come watch the Kawasaki Ninja 250 class with riders going bar to bar the entire race, the Unlimited bikes with 150-200 hp rocketing down the straights, and the intense battles that always occur in our Middleweight and Heavyweight classes. There are many great places to watch the racing from around the course at BIR, and afterwards come meet some of the racers as they wind down from an intense day of competition. If you are lucky, you may even get to see one of our after hours pit bike races, with racers in full gear competing on a small course with various mopeds, scooters and pit bikes in a frantic and hilarious competition, with bragging rights on the line.
