The Central Roadracing Association (CRA) is a 50 year old non-profit organization run entirely by a volunteer board and staff. Our mission is to provide the safest, most affordable, and fun environment in support of the sport of motorcycle road racing. Everything we do in terms of financials is designed to support that mission. Our race fee structure, awards program, advertising, volunteer incentive programs, and safety funds are all closely maintained and managed to grow the sport, increase safety, and ensure longevity of the organization itself.

2025 CRA Schedule
2025 will be an exciting year for the CRA, with 4 events at our home track of BIR, and 1 date in Nebraska at Motorsports Park Hastings. As usual, our season officially starts with our New Racers school in early April.

Getting your license
Before you can race you need to be licensed. Our New Racers school will provide the class room and on track learning to get on grid.

Getting your license
What do I need to do to get a race license?
To get a race license, new racers must attend New Racer School. Additionally, it is highly recommended that new racers also attend the New Racer Seminar, held in the springtime before every race season (contact racer liaison for details). To get your race license, new racers must:
Pay for and attend the 2024 new racer school
Attend classroom instruction for new racer school and complete written test
Participate in track instruction for new racer school
Participate and satisfactorily perform in the New Rider Race
