The Central Roadracing Association is happy to announce its participation in the “Minnesota Motorcycle Weekend,” occurring September 23-25 in Brainerd, MN. The roadracers of the CRA will take to Brainerd International Raceway’s Donnybrooke course on all three days, with practice on Friday the 23rd and sprint races on Saturday the 24th. The CRA riders will then battle it out for the $11,000 purse on the line during the Worldwide Machining & Welding 5-hour endurance race on Sunday the 25th.
In addition to the CRA, the AMA Pro Flat Track Grand National Championship will take center stage at Brainerd’s North Central Speedway on Saturday, September 24. Flat track stars Chris Carr, Jake Johnson, Jared Mees and Kenny Coolbeth, Jr. will bring their skills to the half-mile oval as they march toward the end of the 2011 championship season.
For any racers competing with the CRA in the Ninja 250 class during the September weekend also have the opportunity to attend the Flat Track races in one of North Central Speedway’s suites courtesy of Rocky Mountain Kawasaki/Bob Fier Racing. Race fans interested in making the trek to Central Minnesota for the “Minnesota Motorcycle Weekend” are welcome to camp at Brainerd International Raceway or North Central Speedway.
