The Central Roadracing Association is proud to announce a minimum cash purse of $7,500 for the upcoming Worldwide Machining & Welding 5-hour Endurance Race happening September 23-25 on Brainerd International Raceway’s Donnybrooke Course. Payouts will be made to the overall winner in addition to the podium finishers in the GP1, GP2, GP3 and GP4 classes.
The 5 hour endurance consists of teams with 2-5 riders and one bike with points and money being awarded in four classes. Racers must possess a current CRA license or be licensed with another racing club (ie: MRA, CCS, etc.). Rules for the endurance race can be found on the CRA website in the 2011 CRA rulebook.
Online pre-registration for the September race weekend (including the 5-hour endurance race) will begin on Saturday September 3 at 8:00am and close on Saturday September 18 at 8:00pm. Think you can handle the famed Turn 1 for five hours? Then we’ll see you in Central Minnesota in September!
If you have any questions on this event, or other CRA events, please contact the CRA Racer Liaison Kris Skellenger at racerliaison@cra-mn.com. You can visit Worldwide Machining & Welding Inc’s website at www.wwmwinc.com.
How is the $7,500 purse split among overall finishers and class finishers and any other category?
A press release with the payout of the now $11,000 purse will be put out VERY soon (within a few days) so watch this space!!
