The 2017 CRA New Rider Seminar will be held Sunday, March 26th at MotoPrimo Lakeville from 11:00am to 4:00pm.

New Riders will have the option of paying the full $200 (includes tax) fee that covers the following ~ NR School, 2017 License, Friday practice, Transponder Rental (on your New Rider weekend) and the New Rider Race and Membership for that season, or paying $25 (includes tax) which only covers the classroom portion presented in March at the New Rider Class at MotoPrimo. (For those only paying for the classroom portion, the remainder of the fee would be payable at the track on your New Rider weekend.)

Anyone who completed the classroom portion last year (March 2016) but did not do the on track portion will need to contact Brian Mattson – Membership Director to find out the details as to what fees are or are not applied to the 2017 New Rider classroom program.

You may come early to fill out, and turn in necessary membership forms on that day. While there is no need to preregister for this – it is highly recommended to do so. Please note that you can not preregister for a races until you have met and completed the requirements of the NRS.

On behalf of the CRA, I would like to extend a huge Thank You to MotoPrimo and their staff for hosting the Seminar. This is a great venue.

MotoPrimo is going to put together special one day pricing/discounts like they have in past years for the New Rider Seminar students and CRA membership on that day (March 26th 2017) on merchandise.

Exact numbers can not be made public because of contract agreements with their suppliers and vendor, however in the past the discounts have been significant. Discounts will be on parts, supplies and gear both in stock parts and special order.

The special one day (March 26th) pricing on merchandise at MotoPrimo is available to all current 2017 CRA members. Members only, MotoPrimo is not open to the public for this is a private event for the CRA.

*** Note from Membership – please fill out your paperwork ahead of time to save you time when you get to MotoPrimo. You can take care of your registration on the CRA store. (Check the 2017 CRA Membership thread in this forum for more information.) For those that wish to wait until they arrive at Motoprimo – please plan on additional time to fill out your Membership paperwork which must be completed prior to the seminar. There will NOT be a credit card machine there to accept your payment. All payments must be completed via the CRA store. Please contact me, Brian Mattson, if you have any questions. I will be there on the 26th, so please look for me to process your application whether you applied online, or not.
