Every rider has their own preferences to what gear they use. Below you will find a list of required items and a list of items that are recommended for use in addition to the minimum requirements. Please refer to the 2024 CRA Rulebook (Section 5 – Rider Equipment) for complete details on gear requirements and recommendations.

Required:

• Full face helmet
• Road racing boots at least eight inches high
• Gauntlet-style road racing gloves
• Full leather road racing suit: Two piece models must be securely fastened together with a heavy-duty zipper that goes completely around both the jacket and pants

Recommended:

• Back protector
• Chest protector
• Mouth guard
• Hearing protection
• Neck brace
