NEW RACER CLASSROOM!

This Sunday is our New Racer classroom. As we had announced it has moved to an online meeting/broadcast. Anyone interested in becoming a new racer that hasn’t already received the information, please reach out to info@cra-mn.com and we will get you the appropriate links ton how to log into the GoToMeeting, and the materials you will need.

As stated in previous releases we are monitoring the WHO, CDC, and MN dept. of health to determine any changes to this season’s schedule. Please monitor this page for official CRA updates.

Membership meeting change

With the CDC and MN department of health recommendations to stay at home the BoD has changed our monthly meeting to an online meeting. This poses a slight challenge for the membership portion of the meeting which happens on the first Tuesday of each month.

CRA members that would like to ‘attend’ the meeting on April 7th, please reach out to info@cra-mn.com. When we get this GoToMeeting set up we can get those who would like to attend the necessary login info.

This is an opportunity for members to bring items to the board for consideration. The membership portion of this meeting will start at 7 pm, and be limited on time.

We will not yet have answers on any schedule or event change questions. These items I am certain will be a topic of discussion during the board meeting which happens directly after.

CRA NEW RACER SCHOOL UPDATE

We have made a change to the new rider school venue. In light of the current situation with recommended restrictions on gatherings and such by the CDC and the Minnesota department of health. The CRA has decided to move the new racer school classroom to an online meeting system. The board decided unanimously. The wellbeing of our members, volunteers, and society is of utmost importance.

The date and time will be the same. We are in the process of setting up all the details. Those planning on attending will either receive email from the CRA or if you were planning on coming but have not signed up please connect with Scott at racerliaison@cra-mn.com. Scott, and Jes coordinating with Shane and Christian, to get all the details arranged for materials, and how you will be able to log into the meeting.

CHIEFS OF SPECIALTY, Beth I believe has already reached out to you about the Cheifs meeting which like the NRS will happen as an online meeting. If you have not heard from her please reach out workerliaison@cra-mn.com

We will be continuing to monitor the situation, at this time we are hopeful that the Race season will go on. Stay tuned for any new details or changes.

CRA new racer school, May event & COVID-19

Just an update on the status of our New Racer School classroom scheduled for April 5th at MotoPrimo. As of now, 3/18, we are still planning on having the class on April 5th. However, with the current state of the pandemic, we may be at the mercy of MotoPrimo, the federal, state or local government.

Likewise our first event May 8-10 is currently on schedule, but again we may be at the mercy of the federal, state or local government as BIR is as well.

The entire board of directors in monitoring the situation closely. We want to make sure we are doing the best thing for the safety of our racers and volunteers. Please stay tuned to www.cra-mn.com as our official communication channel, we will also communicate through our social media pages as best we can.

CRA Announcement

Greetings Racers, Volunteers, Friends, and family.

With the recent announcements from the CDC and government officials coming out concerning gathering of events over 250 people, I wanted to let all of you know that the Board of Directors is keeping abreast of the situation. We will be discussing and will continue to monitor the situation. If there are any changes to our schedule they will be announced via our official channel (cra-mn.com) and our social media pages.

FINAL ELECTION RESULTS!

So we finally got the election done!!!!

Congrats to Jes Schwartz as the newest BoD member!

Jes Schwarts had 86 votes 57%
Bradley Kreller had 64 votes 41.7%
and 2 write-ins for 1.3%

Make sure to congratulate Mr. Schwartz!

Election Results and Round 3

So we had round two of our election cycle. Unfortunately, we had another unsuccessful election.

So, round 3 election will be starting 1/8/2020 and concluding 2/4/2020 at 7:15

Please make sure to watch for your ballot in your email, we need everyone to step up once again to make this election happen.

Details of candidates and any changes will be on the ballot.

50th Anniversary logo

The CRA is proud to announce and unveil our 50th-anniversary logo. Being one of if not the longest groups to hold events at Brainerd International Raceway is something that the club is very proud of, and we look forward to continuing for many more years! IMS 2020 Volunteers Needed

The CRA will be hosting a booth at the International Motorcycle Show January 31-February 2, 2020 at the Minneapolis Convention Center. I’m looking for some volunteers to staff the booth, answer questions, and represent the CRA.
