December 6th is the official date of record for the 2nd round of the 2019 election.
We are joining the 21st century and going all E-ballots. PLEASE NOTE, THERE WILL BE NO PAPER BALLOTS SENT OUT THIS TIME. We only had few that were sent out and we had no paper ballots returned.
Make sure your email is up to date with us, and once voting commences if you don’t see it in your inbox, check spam, it sometimes gets caught by spam filters.
We had our election Tuesday Nov 5th. We had one of the best responses to ballots in recent years. 175 responses which means, per the bylaws, in order to win a position candidates need to attain minimum 88 votes.
Results came in as follows.
Since there was 2 spots open and only one received the required minimum votes we will be holding another election for the second spot. Date of record has been established as Dec 6th, and election night will be Jan 7th.
The Banquet is on Saturday, November 23 at the Embassy Suites, Minneapolis Airport. starting with cocktail hour at 5PM.

Attention all racers, volunteers, and members! We have an election to fill two position on the board of directors coming up on Nov 5th. To assure that you are eligible to vote, we need to receive your membership form before Sept 21st. If you do not submit your membership form before Sept 21st you will not receive a ballot for the election.

This error was brought to our attention recently and the Board decided to correct the rule book to eliminate any confusion.
The Formula 40 classes have not in the past nor are they currently included in the CRA overall Championship points.
Here is the corrected rule… updated rule book should be posted to the website soon.
Section 15 – Formula 40
1) Experts earn expert points; Novices earn Novice points. Points earned in Formula 40 will only count toward a rider’s overall CRA class points and will not count toward overall CRA points.
Again, this is not a change in procedure as the Formula 40 classes do not and have not counted toward overall CRA points.
