Race Registration Procedure: Michelin Cup

Location in Store: Sprints→ Specialty→ Michelin Cup

The Michelin Cup is set-up like a Trophy Dash (GP0, GP1, GP2, GP3, and GP4). Please refer to the CRA Rulebook for specific guidelines.

Each GP will have four options:

  • Novice Michelin Tires
  • Novice Other Brand Tires
  • Expert Michelin Tires
  • Expert Other Brand Tires

Select the appropriate option.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Note: Tire manufacturer verification per registration will occur at Pit Zero before each race in series. The CRA holds the right to enforce section 2- General Rules of the rulebook for any violations.

CRA Store

In preparation for the May Pre-registration opening on Saturday, the CRA store will be placed in maintenance mode on Thursday, April 19 and will reopen on Saturday, April 21 at 8 AM.

Donnybrooke Garage Stall Rental

When the CRA hosts an event is on the Donnybrook Course, we are pleased to offer shelter to our racers from the unpredictable weather in Brainerd.

For the May 2018 Event, the CRA will be offering garage stalls for $40 per stall. Each stall can fit two bikes/racers.

Garage stalls can be purchased in the CRA store starting with pre-registration and through the end of the event weekend. Please remember to request a garage and stall number with when ordering.

Garage stall assignments will be posted on the CRA website the Wednesday before the event.

2018 New Rider School

The 2018 CRA New Rider Seminar will be held Sunday, March 18th at MotoPrimo Lakeville from 11:00am to 4:00pm.

New Racers will have the option of paying the full $250 fee (includes tax) that covers the following ~ NRS class room, 2018 Race License, Friday Practice (on your New Rider weekend), Transponder Rental (on your New Rider weekend) and the New Rider Race and Membership for the 2018 season, and racer wrist band (on your New Rider weekend).

OR

Paying $25 (includes tax) which only covers the classroom portion presented on March 18th at the New Rider Class at MotoPrimo. (For those only paying for the classroom portion, the remainder of the fee would be payable at the track on your New Rider weekend.)

Anyone who completed the classroom portion last year (March 2017) but did not do the on track portion will need to contact James Michaelson – Membership Director to find out the details as to what fees are or are not applied to the 2018 New Rider classroom program.

You may come early to fill out, and turn in necessary membership forms on that day. While there is no need to preregister for this – it is highly recommended to do so with CRA membership. Please note that you can not preregister for a races until you have met and completed the requirements of the NRS.

On behalf of the CRA, I would like to extend a huge Thank You to MotoPrimo and their staff for hosting the Seminar. This is a great venue.

MotoPrimo is going to put together special one day pricing/discounts like they have in past years for the New Rider Seminar students and CRA membership on that day (March 18th 2018) on merchandise.

Exact numbers can not be made public because of contract agreements with their suppliers and vendor, however in the past the discounts have been significant. Discounts will be on parts, supplies and gear both in stock parts and special order.

The special one day (March 18th) pricing on merchandise at MotoPrimo is available to all current 2018 CRA members. Members only, MotoPrimo is not open to the public for this is a private event for the CRA.

*** Note from Membership – please fill out your paperwork ahead of time to save you time when you get to MotoPrimo. You can take care of your registration on the CRA store. (Check the 2018 CRA Membership thread in this forum for more information.) For those that wish to wait until they arrive at Motoprimo – please plan on additional time to fill out your Membership paperwork which must be completed prior to the seminar. There will NOT be a credit card machine there to accept your payment. All payments must be completed via the CRA store. Please contact James Michaelson , if you have any questions. He will be there on the 18th, so please look for him to process your application whether you applied online, or not.
