The 2018 CRA New Rider Seminar will be held Sunday, March 18th at MotoPrimo Lakeville from 11:00am to 4:00pm.

New Racers will have the option of paying the full $250 fee (includes tax) that covers the following ~ NRS class room, 2018 Race License, Friday Practice (on your New Rider weekend), Transponder Rental (on your New Rider weekend) and the New Rider Race and Membership for the 2018 season, and racer wrist band (on your New Rider weekend).
OR
Paying $25 (includes tax) which only covers the classroom portion presented on March 18th at the New Rider Class at MotoPrimo. (For those only paying for the classroom portion, the remainder of the fee would be payable at the track on your New Rider weekend.)
Anyone who completed the classroom portion last year (March 2017) but did not do the on track portion will need to contact James Michaelson – Membership Director to find out the details as to what fees are or are not applied to the 2018 New Rider classroom program.
You may come early to fill out, and turn in necessary membership forms on that day. While there is no need to preregister for this – it is highly recommended to do so with CRA membership. Please note that you can not preregister for a races until you have met and completed the requirements of the NRS.
On behalf of the CRA, I would like to extend a huge Thank You to MotoPrimo and their staff for hosting the Seminar. This is a great venue.
MotoPrimo is going to put together special one day pricing/discounts like they have in past years for the New Rider Seminar students and CRA membership on that day (March 18th 2018) on merchandise.
Exact numbers can not be made public because of contract agreements with their suppliers and vendor, however in the past the discounts have been significant. Discounts will be on parts, supplies and gear both in stock parts and special order.
The special one day (March 18th) pricing on merchandise at MotoPrimo is available to all current 2018 CRA members. Members only, MotoPrimo is not open to the public for this is a private event for the CRA.
*** Note from Membership – please fill out your paperwork ahead of time to save you time when you get to MotoPrimo. You can take care of your registration on the CRA store. (Check the 2018 CRA Membership thread in this forum for more information.) For those that wish to wait until they arrive at Motoprimo – please plan on additional time to fill out your Membership paperwork which must be completed prior to the seminar. There will NOT be a credit card machine there to accept your payment. All payments must be completed via the CRA store. Please contact James Michaelson , if you have any questions. He will be there on the 18th, so please look for him to process your application whether you applied online, or not.

We’re getting the ball rolling for the upcoming year and are now accepting membership applications for the 2018 race season!
As in previous years, you can process your entire application electronically via the CRA Store, or if you prefer you may process it via US Mail or even in person at a membership meeting.
First, please take the time to read the membership cover letter for this season found here: 2018 Membership Cover Letter. This gives you some information on how to process your membership application, discusses some changes that were made to the CRA membership application, as well as some upcoming events and things happening this race season.
Second, download the CRA membership application found here: 2018 CRA Membership Form. Please make sure you are filling this form out completely, and legibly. If we cannot read part or all of your application – it may result in delays processing your application, and as a result you may miss out on important deadlines! Another important item is that you MUST physically, or properly electronically sign if submitting electronically, your membership application.
**Racers have until February 15th to keep their 2017 race numbers!!**

Are you customer service driven? Do you enjoy talking with racers? Are you ready to make a long-term commitment to the CRA?
We have an opportunity for you!
After a combined 19 years’ of volunteering in Race Registration Kim and I are ready to pass the torch to two new eager individuals to take what we have accomplished to the next level. We are looking for two individuals to become the new Co-Chiefs of Race Registration and would like the new leadership to train with us over the 2018 season.
We would like to thank all our volunteers and racers for 10 years of fun, laughs, and friendships.
