CRA Racers,

We are trying out a new process that we believe will make it easier for you to validate your contingency after each race weekend.  I have created a folder on Google Docs that has a spreadsheet for each rider that placed 6th or higher in any race in June.  If you have a file on this folder, please take a moment to verify that the contents of your own spreadsheet look correct for races and places.  If you placed 6th or higher and do not have a spreadsheet, please let us know right away.

Note: Placing 6th or better does not guarantee you any contingency (based on rules, grid sizes, etc), this is just a way for you to confirm your results.

Since this spreadsheet is created from the master spreadsheet we will be using to submit to the sponsors for payouts, if it’s correct in your individual sheet it will be correct in the master one.  While the data is the same as in the master, the process is still in beta.  The first priority is to correct some of the formatting and make it easier to read the spreadsheet in Google Docs form, I hope to have this in place for July weekend.

Thanks to an observant racer, I realized that we have not posted the fillable PDF version of the Dunlop Claim Form 2013 .  Please fill out this form, print, and bring to the track with you on race weekend

Once again we will be offering Live Timing and Scoring from ANYWHERE with the Race Monitor app. (http://www.race-monitor.com) This is available for Android and iOS devices and will work anywhere there is a mobile signal or WiFi signal. You don’t need to be connected to the “CRA” network either – it works off a relay service! Just open the app, search the Race Directory for our logo, select it and you are watching lap-by-lap results! Also available is the web version which is accessible by clicking on the “Events” tab and selecting “Live Timing/Scoring and Webcam Feeds”.

Thanks to another generous donation from John Anderson’s World Wide Machining, we have more haybales to deploy before the next race weekend.  As such, we’ll need some additional hands to make quick work of the deployment.  We plan on deploying the hay bales around 6 or 7 on Thursday, June 13.  If you can help, plan on meeting up around John’s pit around that time.  As we learned on May weekend, this goes by much faster if we have a couple more people, so a decent turn out should have this done by 8pm.
