Zalusky Advanced Riding School is back as a sponsor for the 2013 season.  Please review the document ZARS Contingency Info 2013 for details.  Payouts are in the form of track day and Advanced Riding School credits, and are paid to the top 8 finishers in each class over the season in both Expert and Novice.

Note that this is an online registration and must be completed prior to your first race of the season.

Update: Due to the lateness of this notice, the requirement of online registration before the first race will be waived.  Each racer applying for ZARS contingency will have until June 1st to apply online.  All other requirements will remain in place and tech will be confirming the decals and check off’s on the tech form.

MNSBR has returned as a sponsor to our New Riders program, offering the following payouts to any new rider who has not held a race license with any race organization in the last 5 years and is competing in the May, June, July, or August New Rider Race is eligible for this program.

1st Ultralight/Lightweight/N250 (combined) = $75.00*
2nd Ultralight/Lightweight/N250(combined) = $50.00*
3rd Ultralight/Lightweight/N250 (combined) = $25.00*

*To pay to 1st place, there must be 3 riders in each class. To pay 2nd place, there must be 5 racers in each class.  To pay 3rd place, there must be 6 racers in each class

After evaluating the updated track layout, John Anderson has generously supplied the club with 800 hay bales to improve track safety.  We’re now looking for volunteers to help deploy these bales.  With 800 pieces, we’ll need all the help we can get to avoid delaying Friday practice.

Hay bales will be deployed Thursday, May 9, at 5pm CST.  Volunteers will be able to enter the track early.  If you are interested or have questions, please contact the racer liaison (racerliaison@cra-mn.com) or John Anderson (johna@wwmwinc.com).

Honda contingency is back for 2013.  Honda will pay out for these dates:

• May 10th
• June 16th
• July 7th
• August 4th
• September 15th

Please use this form for CRA Contingency signup for the 2013 season.  This is a fillable PDF form, racers are encouraged to fill as much as you can out on your computer ahead of time, print and bring to the track.  Paper copies will still be available at the track.

Dunlop is once again sponsoring the CRA racers with it’s contingency program.  Details of the payout schedule can be found on the Dunlop/CRA site or downloaded at Dunlop 2013 Contingency.  A few points of interest:

• Double sprint weekends are paid on Sunday only
• There will be a renewed effort this year to ensure racers meet all contingency requirements, including the patch sewn on their leathers.

Specific rules are as follows:

1. All awards are Certificates issued by Dunlop in Buffalo, NY.
2. Certificates will be issued by Dunlop ONLY on receipt of Official Results from the Sanctioning Body.
3. Certificates may be redeemed at any Dunlop dealer or by Dunlop race tire distributors.
4. Competitors participating in this program may purchase tires from any recognized Dunlop Dealer or Race Distributor.
5. Competitors must display a minimum 11″ Dunlop Decal on each side of the motorcycle (Fairing) and a Vertical Dunlop
Decal on each side of the Front Fender.
6. Competitors must wear a Dunlop patch on leathers.
7. Dunlop must be listed as a Sponsor on rider’s entry form.
8. Certificates will be issued ONLY when races have a minimum of 6 starters.
9. Riders must complete a Dunlop Contingency Claim Form on the day of the race. Race officials must verify this form.
