2012 Silkolene/EBC payout update

Posted: April 18, 2013 by Contingency in Announcements, Contingency

Racers that submitted for Silkolene or EBC and worked with us last fall to receive these payouts: we just learned that the envelopes were sent to an incorrect address (the only one provided to us at the time) and have received them back. We will work to get these resubmitted to the correct address and hope to still get these awards paid out. Stay tuned for more information.

Anyone who completed the classroom portion last year (March 2012) but did not do the on track portion will need to contact Anna at membership@cra-mn.com to find out the details as to what fees are or are not applied to the 2013 New Rider classroom program.

You can come early to register and fill out and turn in necessary forms on that day. No need to preregister for this.

On behalf of the CRA, I would like to extend a huge Thank You to MotoPrimo and their staff for hosting the Seminar. This is a great venue.

I have been in contact with MotoPrimo and have been told they are again as in past years putting together special one day pricing/discounts on merchandise for that day. More details as to what merchandise products, brand names, ect. will be coming soon. As soon as I know I will pass along the info. Exact numbers can not be made public because of contract agreements with their suppliers and vendor, however in the past the discounts have been significant. Discounts will be on parts, supplies and gear.

Check the post on MNSBR often as it will be updated as the date near, and post up questions if you have them.

There will be a credit card machine there to accept your payment in that form if you choose.

First call to grid!

Start your quest to someday be a CRA UNLSS CHAMPION of the World like Hughes once was.

Jim Wiles Fund

Posted: November 18, 2012 by Vice President in Announcements

As you may be aware, our good friend Jim Wiles of On Track for Him, the Dunlop tire vendor, racer and coach suffered from a serious health-related issue while attending a track day at Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama.
